A Young Kendari Woman was Raped by Three Crew Members After Being Force-Fed with Alcohol


Rape cases involving many people have occurred again in Kendari, Southeast Sulawesi. This incident occurred in Poasia Village, Abeli ​​District, on Wednesday 15/3/2023. This time it happened to a high school student with the initials F (16 years).


The obscene act was carried out when F was invited to drink alcohol at the residence of one of the perpetrators. The drunkenness occurred around 10:00 p.m. One of the perpetrators contacted the victim to meet at the crime scene.


The victim agreed to be picked up using an online motorcycle taxi and driven to Abi's house (16 years).  Abi is not one of the perpetrators but is the only witness. Abi's house is in Lorong Kodok, Pendidikan Street, Poasia Village.


After arriving at Abi's house, the perpetrators invited the victim to go to the residence of one of the perpetrators to drink the liquor provided.


The victim who drank most of it ended up getting very drunk and allegedly unconscious. The perpetrators also take turns taking their lust for the victim.


A few hours later, the victim was brought home and told her parents everything that had happened. His parents, who did not accept this, then reported the perpetrators to the Abeli ​​Police for further investigation.


The Chief of Police Kendari, Muhammad Eka Faturahman, revealed that the three perpetrators were crew members who served the Kendari - Wakatobi route on the Agil Pratama 04 ship.


"This perpetrator works as a crew member. The initials are B (23 years), R (24 years), and A (27 years). Now the three of them have been secured at the Poasia Police," Eka told reporters Wednesday 22/3/2023.


The report had been made by the victim's parents, the proof of the cover letter for the post-mortem had been carried out, then we had examined several witnesses and perpetrators. Currently the perpetrator has been arrested. Add Eka.


Hopefully this news will be a lesson for all of us, especially women, about the importance of always being vigilant against anyone who invites us to do bad things (drinking) so that incidents like this don't happen again.
