Yudo Andreawan, The Man who Was Arrested for Being Frequently Angry in Public Places

Yudo Andreawan is a Masters student from one of the most famous universities in Jakarta. He is known to throw tantrums at people in public places such as train stations and malls.

Yudo was eventually arrested by the police for being a suspect in a case of abuse and unpleasant behavior. This case was reported by a friend in January 2023. Yudo was arrested by police officers at 02.00 WIB on Friday 14-4-2023.

"Yes, he has been named a suspect. So in January someone reported him for articles 335 and 351 of the Criminal Code." Said Kompol Yuliansyah Kasubdit Ranmor Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.

This case of abuse and unpleasant behavior began when he created a Whatsapp chat group. In the group he told me that he was going to get married to someone.

The wedding never happened. Finally one of his friends who became the reporter left the group but was added again by Yudo. Events in and out of this group occurred up to five times.

Because of this, Yudo became emotional and cursed at his friends who were in and out of the group. One of his other friends suggested that Yudo meet a friend who left the group to solve his problem.

Finally, Yudo met the reporter at a mall in the Tanah Abang area. At the Mall it turns out the problem is not finished. In fact, Yudo clawed, threw glasses, and spat on the reporter.

"Meet there was a dispute, there were beatings, clawing, kicking, the security guard was separated and taken to the post, the post happened again, the victim was thrown with a glass, scratched and spat on," explained Yuliansyah.

Due to this incident, Yudo was reported by the victim to Polda Metro Jaya and then followed up until an arrest was made.

Meanwhile, another story is that Yudo was once angry at the Manggarai station, South Jakarta. In a video, it is narrated that a man who claims to be the boss, gets angry just because he is knocked over by another passenger. This event occurred on Wednesday 12-4-2023.

It was seen that the man who claimed to be the boss was chasing another man who was also a KRL passenger. A number of station workers were assisted by the TNI to calm the man who was later discovered to be Yudo Andreawan.

"Woi... I'm boss! He hit first. Woi... I'm boss, I'm boss," shouted the man in the video while tapping his chest.

The results of the medical examination revealed that Yudo had a mental disorder.

"The results of our team's communication, the perpetrator said that he suffered from a mental disorder," said Yuliansyah.

The signs of the perpetrator suffering from mental illness can be seen when he smiles in the media coverage. One of the media crew asked if he had given up after several times making noise at stations and public places.

"I give up," answered Yudo Andreawan casually.
