Chronology of Murder
The perpetrator got the notion to poison his wife after watching a YouTube video about potash poison on March 6, 2023, according to the chronology of events. On Sunday, March 12, 2023, the item that he had finally purchased arrived at his home.
On Thursday, the offender woke his wife and urged her to drink the poisoned water after mixing the potash poison with water.
The perpetrator was given a drink and given permission to depart for a bit with the justification that he was going to look at the shrimp ponds. When the offender went back to the house 30 minutes later, he discovered his wife writhing in pain. By providing young coconut water to the victim, the offender hoped to assist her.
Finally, the perpetrator's parents took his wife to the closest medical facility for treatment after she failed to improve. Regrettably, it was too late to save Siti Hasanah's life. His own husband poisoned him to death.
Motive of The Perpetrator
The offender's illicit relationship with his sister-in-law, who was mistakingn for the victim's biological sister, was well known. Since 2021, this relationship has been illicit. The in-law sister is still a teenager; she is 17 years old and enrolled in school.
The sole reason the killer killed his wife was because he was involved in an illicit relationship with his sister-in-law. On April 1, 2023, AKP Wido Dwi Arifiya Zaen, the head of the Tulang Bawang Police's criminal investigation unit, provided the explanation.
It is said that this relationship resembled that of a husband and wife and was ongoing before the culprit wed the victim. Up until the victim ultimately became pregnant and brought the offender to justice.
"This sister-in-law told the perpetrator that she did not want to be second wife. Then the perpetrator's evil intention arose to kill the victim using potash poison," said AKP Wido.
