There is the latest news from Donald Trump. Recently the
former US president gave a report that several FBI members had taken his
passport which was at his private home located in Mar-a-Lago, Palm Beach,
Florida.
It was reported that the FBI had taken three of Trump's
passports. It was also stated that the FBI confiscated lots of boxes containing
documents. Some documents are very sensitive according to them.
Trump said the raids were related to attacks by political
opponents. I don't know which political opponent. But Trump firmly believes in
it.
"This is an attack on a political opponent at a level
that has never been seen before in our country," Trump said.
Trump continues to speak by stating that the condition of
the country is in a dangerous condition
"This country is in a very dangerous position,"
Trump said in an interview with Fox News Digital on Monday.
"There has never been an incident like this in which
law enforcement was used to break into the home of a former president of the
United States," Trump continued.
On the other hand, Donald Trump also suspects the FBI could
put anything they want during the search to corner him.
Trump may strongly condemn the actions of the FBI. But
Attorney General Merrick Garland defended the FBI search at Mar-a-Lago. Garland
stressed that it was in accordance with applicable laws in America.
The investigation and search carried out by the FBI is
completely legal because a federal judge signed a search warrant before the
raid took place.
A search warrant released Friday, August 12, 2022 shows that Trump is being investigated for allegedly violating the Espionage Act, among other potential federal crimes.
